As they return for the average on-campus experience, students, faculty, and staff are expected to obey the health and safety guidelines that the Institution has imposed, especially with everyone’s vaccination status. These protocols are followed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Chicago Department of Public Health.
For Students
- Since regular on-campus classes are now being practiced, everyone who intends to be on the campus must get a vaccination and submit the vaccination proof to Health Services.
- The local, state and national guidelines will still require wearing the mask. Masks must be worn at all times unless you are in a room by yourself.
- Everyone must practice hand hygiene to reduce the spread of unwanted germs.

In return for their regular on-campus activities, students, faculty, and staff must follow the safety and health guidelines the Institution has been put in place, specifically with the status of everyone’s vaccination. For Students

- Be sure to know your department’s personnel plan so that you can perform as per what’s been established.
- Unvaccinated students should temporarily be barred from any campus or attend off-campus events.
Academics
At SAIC, there is no requirement to declare a major, and you can choose to take classes at any one of the departments or subjects of study. This has been a great help in learning new methods that you want to without any limitations.
